The 2023 vintage for Rosso di Montepulciano Poliziano was characterized by meticulous attention to grape quality. The vines, carefully cultivated in the Montepulciano area, benefited from a favorable climate, with balanced temperatures and a good alternation between sun and rain. This allowed optimal ripening of the clusters, ensuring a perfect balance between sugars and acidity.

After manual harvesting, the grapes underwent fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel truncated conical vats. During this stage, punching down and pumping over ensured uniform extraction of aromas, color and tannins. Subsequently, the wine was aged for about 8 months, partly in stainless steel and partly in wooden barrels of various capacities, to develop complexity and harmony.

The result is a fresh, fragrant and well-balanced wine with notes of red fruit, cherries and a touch of spice. Perfect to accompany traditional Tuscan dishes, Rosso di Montepulciano 2023 Poliziano represents the excellence of the terroir and the passion for viticulture.
